Lexus LFA Video

Submitted by Alex Tabony on 13 May, 2010 - 7:33 am

Something truly unique. Not your father's Lexus...

At this time - The presenters are faced with a serious problem - a lack of money. They are budgeted for fourteen episodes, but have spent too much on the first thirteen, and so they have to be careful in how much they spend making this one. Richard Hammond reviews the £340000 Lexus LFA, but ends up spending about about the same amount on animated graphics that make his segment look like a comic book, much to James May's annoyance. 2. The camera work is nifty as usual. I want to see in Japanese subtitle.

  3. Looks like Lexus copied the Viper GTS and the 350/370Z in the front and the Audi R8 in the rear. Thats typical for japanese auto making.

  4. I would take a Aston Martin DBS over this thing any day. The DBS is the better car. but out of all of them I would STILL get the ZR1, you pretty much get all the same features for a WAY better price. Hell will freeze over before I’ll pay $400,000 for a Lexus.

  9. @akirony meaning I actually did look and you’re starting to throw random insults to try and justify yourself. I’m actually pretty ashamed that I kept it up with you for this long. Looks bad on my part. Normally don’t troll around but it was fun while it lasted. Don’t think I’m gonna argue with you anymore because you’re obviously too stubborn.

    Comment by thing503 — 13 May, 2010 @ 10:52 am

  10. @thing503 meaning you didnt look at all and you know your wrong. and capital letters make it all true huh? what a dumb dick you are. stick to your day job because you got nothing on me you arrogant ignorant dumb fuck. haha. 1 up yours in the near future you dick lover

    Comment by akirony — 13 May, 2010 @ 11:25 am

  11. @akirony, well everywhere I have looked you fucking idiot has had no evidence that states it’s a successor. You have no evidence. You haven’t even given me any evidence so to say that I’m just “saying so” is a complete double standard. Just because the cars have the same platform being front engine rwd platforms, it doesn’t make the LFA a “successor” to the supra. And just because I haven’t told you where I have looked, it doesn’t mean I haven’t. YOU ARE WRONG. GET OVER IT YOU FUCK.

  12. @thing503 wtf have you proven? evidence IS needed you know. to prove a point that is. other people being ….? what 1 person. i mean really. but im stupid for coming to court with a briefcase and witnesses but your right cause you say so? UH NO. unless you work as a ceo, vp, or partner at toyota/lexus then you havent proven dick. your an ignorant no-neck retard. go ride a bike jackass. stick to what you know……

    Comment by akirony — 13 May, 2010 @ 1:12 pm

  13. @akirony dude, you are so fucking stupid. You think your shit doesn’t stink huh? You’ve got other people that have said you are wrong, you’ve got myself, who says you are wrong. Wake up and smell what you’re shoveling you stupid, stubborn, babbling idiot. It’s not the new supra, get over it. Get over the fact that somebody has proven you wrong “for once.”

  14. @thing503 cost is for toyota to get out the whole they dug so it means nothing to the successor thing. its called that because its a supercar and not a reg. sportscar so it succeeded in becoming the fastest toyota/lexus and the top dog from the factory. does that fill up your holes huh? just dont even comment cause this is a stalemate you cant win

    Comment by akirony — 13 May, 2010 @ 2:18 pm

  15. @thing503 my bad i didnt know you and tallzdatank was everybody on youtube. the only two people that commented. get over yourself? really? im just displaying the facts and your the one that has somethin to prove because ive showd the facts yet youve done nothing but commit your skepticism. ok this is youtube duh. you say that like it is posted everywhere on the site. if you didnt care you wouldnt have replied. so you just contradicted yourself and showed your ignorance. REALLY?

    Comment by akirony — 13 May, 2010 @ 2:57 pm

  16. @akirony It’s obviously NOT a successor because it costs like ten times what an original MkIV would cost. And why would they call it a successor if they are planning on building a MkV? There are so many holes in your logic that it’s pathetic.

    Comment by thing503 — 13 May, 2010 @ 3:22 pm

  17. @akirony dude, everyone on here is calling you out on it. Get over yourself, stop trying to act like you have something to prove because THIS IS FUCKING YOUTUBE. we don’t care. Get over the fact that everybody knows you’re blowing this information out of your ass.

    Comment by thing503 — 13 May, 2010 @ 3:36 pm

  18. im not saying it because it convienient but based on the facts. im not wrong. ive done my research. your should do the same b4 claiming that someone is wrong when you are now you get over it.

    Comment by akirony — 13 May, 2010 @ 3:36 pm

  19. @thing503 how bout this you look up lexus supra lfa in your browser and you find hundreds of links to websites that all have talked to toyota personally. its called a successor for the simple fact that its the future model under a different name. your right its a supercar. but only 500 are being built and then the supra name will be brought back at a cheaper affordable price than the lfa with a 6 cly engine and same body as the lfa with a T on it.

    Comment by akirony — 13 May, 2010 @ 4:04 pm

  20. cool

    Comment by jakeejoke1000 — 13 May, 2010 @ 4:06 pm

  21. @akirony or how about you give me proof instead of just thinking something and then automatically declaring it true just because it’s convienient. It is not a replacement. It is clearly not in the same league as the supra. It’s not a sports car, it’s a supercar. The two are not the same. You’re wrong, get over it.

    Comment by thing503 — 13 May, 2010 @ 5:06 pm

  22. @tallzdatank SAME BODY with small changes and a different engine like i said the first time. they are gonna take some electronics to make it cheaper. reread if you dont understand and you might get it

    Comment by akirony — 13 May, 2010 @ 5:12 pm

  23. @thing503 no you ass they are the same because this is the comeback version dolt. they already said they were bringing the supra back and this is what it looks like. the lf-a is just the lexus version like how the soarer and supra were back then. how bout you dont post anymore til you do your research. DUMBASS

    Comment by akirony — 13 May, 2010 @ 5:22 pm

  24. over priced piece of junk

    Comment by tallzdatank — 13 May, 2010 @ 6:05 pm

  25. @akirony sooo… basically there is NOTHING THE SAME? no similar engine, no similar body, no similar electronics, brakes, suspension, interior, etc.
